Swimming Pool Foundation's Certified Pool-Spa Operator
(CPO®) Course
A nationally recognized training and certification program for pool
and spa operators.
The National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) was founded in 1964 and
introduced the CPO® course in
1974. The NSPF represents the pool industry as well as the general
public. CPO® training includes
the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and safely operate
and manage swimming pools and spas. More than 17 states now require
CPO® certification. Over 75,000
aquatic professionals have been certified to date.

Instructor
Robert W.
Lowry is a chemist and has been in the pool industry
for 33 years. He has been a CPO
® instructor
for 15 years. During his time in the pool industry,
he has co-owned two chemical companies and a publishing
company. He has written or co-authored eight books
on pool and spa water chemistry, written more than
120 articles that have been published in trade publications,
given more than 500 seminars on pool and spa water
chemistry, and invented, researched, developed and
formulated 109 chemical products. He is one of the
top chemists and water chemistry experts in the world.
Fee:
$300.00 for 1-9 students from the
same company.
$270 for 10-14 students from the same company.
$240 for 15 or more students from the same company.
Fee Includes: Certification, New 240 Page Course Textbook, Testing, Diploma,
Wallet Card and other supplemental material.
**Note: a Spanish version of the CPO textbook is available for and extra fee of $15. Please be sure to mark your choice on the payment page.
*Textbook and instructions will be sent directly to each student's home
mailing address upon payment in full.
*You must read and study the textbook before class.
*Last-minute additions may be allowed if class-space permits.
*Class size is often limited. Enroll as soon as possible to ensure your
reservation and registration.
Refund Policy
We make every effort to provide registered course students sufficient
time to arrange their personal schedule in order to fulfill their class
attendance commitment. However, we must enforce the following cancellation/refund
policy due to travel and operating expenses incurred by Lowry Consulting
Group during pre-course preparation. Payment of the course fee constitutes
acceptance of this refund policy. (NOTE: If the CPO Handbook is not returned,
$55 will be deducted from the refund amount.)
Cancellation by student:
7 days before course date = 100% Refund
3-6 days before course date = 50% Refund
0-2 days before course date = No Refund
